VSI5X Sand Making Machine Working principle

The VSI5X Sand Making Machine has two feed modes - "Center Feed" and "Center and Side Feed". For the former mode "center feed", the material in the feed hopper first enters the high speed rotating rotor through the center hole. In the rotor, the material is fully accelerated and thrown outward from the launch port to collide with a portion of the material that falls freely after bounce. Next, the material together impacts the surrounding vortex material lining (or impingement block) within the vortex chamber. In the chamber, the material is first bounced back to the top of the crushing chamber and then moved downwards to change their orientation to form a material curtain having material emanating from the flow path of the impeller. Finally, the finished product is discharged from the bottom discharge port. As for the latter mode "center and side feed", first, the material in the feed hopper passes through the round hole. The material is then divided into two parts by a dispensing tray. A portion of the material enters the high speed rotating impeller while another portion of the material falls from all sides of the tray. The material in the impeller will be rapidly accelerated and thrown outward at high speed to collide with material falling from all sides of the tray. Next, all of the material together impinges on the surrounding vortex material lining (or impingement block) within the vortex chamber. In the chamber, the material is first bounced back to the top of the crushing chamber and then moved downwards to change their orientation to form a material curtain having material emanating from the flow path of the impeller. Finally, the finished product is discharged from the bottom discharge port.
