Raymond Mill Problem

Raymond mill's "knocking" problem

In the process of grinding the ore, the Raymond mill has a serious problem, the so-called "knocking" between the grinding stick and the grinding ring. Let us talk about this situation. The so-called "knocking cylinder" refers to the strong oscillation and noise generated by the direct contact and bounce between steel and steel between the grinding roller and the grinding ring during the grinding process. Because of the processing complexity ranging from 100 to 325 mesh, the traditional Raymond mill has a coarse grain size and a large amount of feed. It forms a buffer layer under a lot of feeding of the blade, which reduces the direct touch between the two, but when When grinding ultrafine powder, especially when processing fine powder exceeding 800 mesh or more, because the feeding amount in the grinding is small and the powder is extra fine, the buffering layer is very thin, and it is easy to form the grinding roller and the grinding ring. Direct touch, "knocking cylinder" appearance is very severe, posing high frequency oscillations and noise, and the fatigue damage to the components is very severe.

It constitutes a crack of a welded structural member such as a bellows or a cover cylinder, a vibration-breaking coupling bolt, and a grinding roller shaft. Let's work hard to improve the blade shovel equipment. The large base of the original machine has a bottom surface of the vortex air duct flush with the receiving pad, and the outer baffle of the blade is short. The rotating blade is blown by strong wind when scooping up the material, about the block and the large particles. The influence of the material is not great, but the fine powder, especially the fine powder that is returned by the classifier, will be blown away by the wind. On the one hand, these unqualified fine powders are not lost in the grinding zone of the roller and the grinding ring, and the timing of further grinding is lost.

On the other hand, it will be difficult to increase the dust concentration of the grading wheel outside the classification zone. Therefore, we improved the structure of the blade and the large base, together with the orientation of the feeding port away from the air inlet of the return air box, maintaining these fine powders without being blown away by strong winds, feeding as much as possible into the grinding zone, not only improving the grinding power but also increasing The thickness of the fill layer when processing ultrafine powder reduces the appearance of “knocking” and reduces oscillation and noise. After adopting a series of reinforced structures and vibration isolation methods, the effect is remarkable.

The large base is made of cast steel, adding wall thickness and rib thickness, and the central axle and plum blossom frame are also strengthened. The grinding roller equipment uses sliding bearings to strengthen the assembly rigidity and strength of the roller and the bushing; adopting vibration isolation and softness The joint structure, the return air box, the cover cylinder and the classifier are mounted on the other frame and directly supported on the foundation, completely blocked from the large base parts of the mill which are oscillated vigorously, and the soft joints of the canvas are used to greatly maintain the parts. Protect from vibration, add reliability and extend life.
